v1.5.0 — Editor decklist access and version management

Guide editors can now create, apply, and delete decklist versions directly. Every version shows who created it, and any version except the last can be removed.

Decklists

  • Editors on a shared guide can now create new decklist versions, apply older versions, and revert, just like the owner
  • Each version shows who created it in the version sidebar
  • Delete any version (except the last one) with the trash button next to it; if the latest version is deleted, the guide automatically falls back to the previous one
  • The shared decklists list now shows your role (Editor or Suggester) so you know what you can do

Interface

  • Public pages no longer flash a Log in button before your session is known; a brief loading state shows instead
  • Profile page: your info now lays out in two columns on wider screens, and Member since shows as a readable date

v1.4.0 — Two-column PDF export

The guide PDF export now comes in two flavors: a compact two-column layout that fits far more on a page, and an extended layout that keeps your matchup notes.

Exports

  • New compact PDF: matchups flow across two balanced columns with tighter type, so a guide takes far fewer pages
  • New extended PDF: a single wider column that keeps each matchup's notes
  • A thin divider now separates each matchup for easier scanning

v1.3.0 — Decklist import, export, and shared decks

Decklists now travel both ways: import them from MTG Arena and MTGO files, export or copy them in the format your client expects, and browse the decks behind guides shared with you.

Decklists

  • Export any decklist version as plain text, MTG Arena text, or an MTGO .dek file
  • Copy a decklist to the clipboard as plain text or in MTG Arena format, ready to paste into the client
  • Import a decklist from a file when creating a deck or adding a version: plain text, MTG Arena exports (set codes, About and Companion sections handled), MTGO text, and MTGO .dek files
  • Decks from guides shared with you now appear on your decklists page in a new "From shared guides" section
  • Shared decks open read only: browse their version history and export them, while changes stay with the owner

v1.2.0 — Live collaboration and creature avatars

Guides now update live while teammates edit, you can see who is viewing alongside you, every user gets a Magic creature avatar, and shared links show proper page previews.

Guides

  • Live sync: teammates' cell edits, matchup changes, and notes appear in your grid instantly, no refresh needed
  • Suggestions update live too: proposals and reviews reach the owner and the suggester in real time
  • Presence avatars in the guide header show who else is viewing the guide right now
  • Card names and matchup headers stay visible while you scroll large grids
  • Snappier grid: cells are simple buttons until you click one to edit, so big guides stay fast
  • A pending cell edit is saved even if you close the tab right after typing

Creature avatars

  • Every user gets a personal avatar: a Magic creature (dragon, goblin, hydra and more) on a colored circle, the same everywhere and on every device
  • Avatars appear in team member lists, pending invites, guide collaborators, and the header user menu

Interface & sharing

  • Sharing a link to SidePlan now unfurls with a real title and description in chat apps and search results
  • Browser tab titles no longer flash Loading... and always show the right page name
  • Better screen reader support in the guide grid: proper table semantics and a label on every cell
  • Fixed doubled table borders and the side menu appearing underneath the guide grid

Performance

  • Database indexes on all hot queries keep guides fast as data grows
  • Card image lookups are batched instead of firing all at once

A read-only summary view for your guide, PDF and Excel exports, matchup notes, decklist card counts, and a round of interface polish.

Guides

  • Toggle any guide between the editable table and a read-only summary that groups each matchup into bring-in and take-out cards
  • Add a note to any matchup to capture its sideboarding plan; editors write directly and suggesters propose notes for the owner to approve
  • Rename or delete matchups straight from the summary view
  • Export your guide to PDF, laid out like the summary with a section per matchup and its note below
  • Export your guide to Excel (XLSX) as a grid (a row per card, a column per matchup) plus a Notes sheet for your matchup notes

Decklists

  • See the card count next to the Main deck and Sideboard headings

Interface polish

  • Cleaner delete buttons on the guides and teams lists
  • Confirmation dialogs now share one consistent layout with a Cancel button alongside the confirm action

Accounts & profiles
